W.H.O.A. fully supports the right to free speech both online and off, but asserts that free speech is not protected when it involves threats to the emotional or physical safety of anyone.     An exhibition on the history of the Anatolian women. The exhibition examines her place in religious belief, administration, daily life, professional life, and the family, focusing on her social status and problems in the context of faith, tradition and legislation. The broad spectrum of cultures have been classified under three headings: Prehistory to the Iron Age (7th millennium B.C.-7th century B.C.); Greek, Roman and Byzantine periods (7th century B.C.- 15th century A.D.); and the Seljuk and Ottoman periods (12th century A.D.-early 20th century).

  • Women and Science - European Commission
    The European Commission is undertaking a series of measures to promote women's participation in research. The objectives are to develop the dialogue among member states, and with the different stake holders, and to develop a "gender watch system" in the Fifth Framework Programme. An expert working group produced a report to identify challenges and review policy options in order to adress the gender balance in research policy. The dialogue among member states mainly carries on issues like policy review and development of gender indicators in research.
