Anasazi Heritage Center - Bureau of Land Management
A museum of the Ancestral Puebloan (or Anasazi) culture and other native cultures in the Four Corners region. The museum features permanent exhibits on archaology, local history and Native American culture. It holds a research collection of over 3 million artifacts and documents from archaeological projects in Southwest Colorado.
Anthropology Museum at Northern Kentucky University

Hudson Museum of Anthropology - University of Maine
Featured in the museum galleries are exhibits about the native cultures of the Pacific Northwest Coast, American Southwest, Northwestern Woodlands, and the Arctic, as well as those of Papua New Guinea, Panama, and Africa. It also houses collections of Prehispanic Mexican and Central American artifacts. For televisitors there are a few interesting virtual exhibits.
Maxwell Museum of Anthropology - University of New Mexico
Holds over 10 million individual items in its archaeological, ethnological, archival, photo and skeletal collections. The mission of the Maxwell encompasses the entire history of mankind and culture around the world. This is reflected in its two permanent exhibits. Ancesters shows 4 million years of human evolution, and People of the Southwest interprets 11,000 years of cultural history in the Southwest. There are several educational resources that may be used for nonprofit purposes. You can also browse through some of Maxwell's archaeological, ethnological and photo collections.
